Gauloise good-bye

Last before bed.

NY Times reported the closing of the last Gauloise-making factory in France, leaving Spain to carry the torch:

"Henceforth they will be made at a factory in Alicante, Spain, where people presumably still appreciate a cigarette with the force of a small flamethrower."

C, appreciative, nostalgic and reminded of what Sartre looked like

A biased review of That '70s Show
I was drawn to That '70s Show when it first aired back in 1998, because I grew up in the 70s ... Patriarch Red Forman, as played by Kurtwood Smith, was probably the most realistic father figure on television since Kevin Arnold's dad on The Wonder Years.
