Decor by hand

Discussing with Cintra - a new apartment owner in Buenos Aires - the woes of filling space. That there's no way around seats, you can't wing-it bed-wise, or host holiday meals without something that seats + serves 6.

I find it much easier to accessorize than address the building blocks.

For instance, this hand: in a second. I find it necessary and beautiful and enchanting. Let the couches and mattress sets fall where they may - the hand's the surest thing.

(But you can't eat off it.)
