Reason for the before/after thing
When I'm not traveling, and should be pitching and writing, I get distracted by -
my apartment.
With tax refund, I bought a printer/scanner/fax-er super-machine and with it have wasted even more time scanning in old photos. Like these of the apartment when I first saw it (and fell hard).
Other reasons for the apartment focus:
Travel pictures too outdated to keep posting when I'm not there.
New York in a spring-time real estate flutter. R and I wen to open houses on upper west Sunday, shouldered into crowded one bedrooms with other couples clutching coffees and sheafs of listings. Mad market so that a 2 bedroom for $2 million, since it has such nice fixtures really, starts to seem pretty okay.
Helped Cin and Ian move out of Seward Park this morning. Almost two years since I helped them move in. Blank space/page - filled up with them - empty once more. Seward Park/LES a little less of a mystery but not much, and more hipsters/fewer ancient ladies in house coats, but not many.
So - spring is for nesting.
Happy spring.
