Now there's a breeze
Which makes a world of difference.
Yesterday I crawled the city, everyone sweat and stank. Today the air is coming from a different place, a cooler and friendlier climate. Today I skip and my mood's through the roof. I'm responding to emails that have languished, hoping in an inbox lament, for just such a day.
Whew, Enough exuberance.
No exciting new pictures to post so may mine old files for material. May start posting last year's Maine photos, to make the trip come faster (2 weeks away). May repost apartment photos, to inspire more bids by vicarious web energy. Or may temper the whole thing with some bleakly innaporpriate Leonard Cohen quotes for a colder city.
But what I really should be at is WRITING, PITCHING, WRITING CLASS PAPER. But posting more fun.
Maybe will post my class work here, so it gets a glimmer of exposure...
Love from Starbucks, bustling, at Broadway and 75th. Handsome out of work actor beside me grimply hilighting a script I'm not sure he's been given. Mostly a wholesome/working class crowd. And the mommies of the Columbus Starbucks seem to to venture west.
