More Hudson

Managed to develop a crush on the town of Hudson this last weekend.

Good since come Nov. 1 it will be my closest town-with-more-than-a-general store.
Also good because I'll be doing a small Circa Trade relaunch there in an enormous shop/emporium on Warren Street.
And finally good because it's 15 minutes north of my house and therefore within the tiny driving radius which I believe I can currently manage.

And, worst case, it has train station I can walk into town from.

My house's owners, whom I sat across a table of donuts and paperwork from at Friday's closing, called Hudson:

"A college town for grown-ups."

Which makes Hudson less full-frontal crunchy than Woodstock and less precious than Rhinebeck, more like a really fun life raft of people and things from favorite city neighborhoods set down in the Hudson Valley.

More on Hudson soon, and the move, the weekend and fall-thoughts.
